Tour Plan

Day 1

Welcome to North Sumatra! Upon your arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our Aulia Tour & Travel team. Your journey begins with a delightful lunch at a local restaurant serving authentic regional cuisine.

After lunch, we travel to Parapat, passing through the towns of Tebing Tinggi and Pematang Siantar. Along the way, we will make a short stop at the famous Patten Shop, where you can taste and purchase Siantar’s signature snacks such as "ting-ting" and "teng-teng."

Once we arrive in Parapat, check in at your hotel overlooking the magnificent Lake Toba. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and spend your free time unwinding by the lake, taking in the peaceful ambiance of the evening.

Day 2

After breakfast, we’ll head to the harbor for a boat trip to Samosir Island. Our first stop is Tomok Village, where you can explore the tomb of King Sidabutar and learn about the rich Batak culture. Don’t miss the opportunity to buy local handicrafts and souvenirs from the traditional market.

Next, we visit Tuk-tuk Village, a serene area where you can relax and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Toba. After touring the island, we return to Parapat for lunch and then continue the scenic journey to Berastagi.

En route, stop at Simarjarunjung Hill for a stunning view of Lake Toba while trying traditional fried bananas and "bandrek" ginger tea (personal expense). We’ll also visit the historical Simalungun King’s Palace in Pematang Purba and the majestic Sipiso-piso Waterfall in Tongging Village.

Arriving in Berastagi, we visit Gundaling Hill for breathtaking views of Mount Sibayak and Mount Sinabung. Check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and spend your evening exploring the charming town.

Day 3

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Berastagi Fruit Market. Sample and shop for fresh local fruits such as passion fruit, sweet oranges, and snake fruit.

Next, we explore the beautiful Taman Lumbini, home to a replica of Myanmar’s Shwedagon Pagoda, surrounded by tranquil gardens and mountain views. After lunch, we proceed to Medan city.

Once in Medan, we begin the city tour by visiting popular landmarks: Asam Kumbang Crocodile Farm, Maimun Palace – a legacy of the Deli Sultanate, the iconic Grand Mosque of Medan, Sri Mariamman Hindu Temple, and Gunung Timur Buddhist Temple.

In the evening, check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. If you wish, you may explore Medan’s nightlife by visiting Ucok Durian, Merdeka Walk, or Kesawan Street (personal expense).

Day 4

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Today’s first stop is Rumah Noerlen, a heritage house where you can see the traditional process of making Medan’s signature passion fruit syrup.

You will also have time to shop for Medan’s famous souvenirs like Bika Ambon, Durian Pancake, and Bolu Meranti.
