Tour Plan

Day 1

Welcome to North Sumatra! Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by the Aulia Tour Medan team. From here, we begin our scenic drive to Parapat, passing through Pematang Siantar, a vibrant town surrounded by lush rubber and palm oil plantations.

In Pematang Siantar, we’ll make a short stop at the famous Toko Paten to sample and shop for traditional local snacks such as tengteng and tingting. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Parapat.

Upon arrival in Parapat, we board a ferry to Samosir Island, nestled in the middle of the magnificent Lake Toba. Take in the stunning scenery of emerald hills and sparkling blue waters during the crossing. Once on the island, we’ll visit Tomok Village to explore the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar and shop for handcrafted souvenirs at the traditional market. The day ends with hotel check-in, dinner, and free time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 2

After breakfast, get ready to delve deeper into the natural wonders of Samosir Island. Our first destination is the beautiful Holbung Hill, often called the Teletubbies Hill due to its wide, grassy landscapes and sweeping views of Lake Toba — perfect for nature lovers and photo enthusiasts.

Next, we visit the enchanting Efrata Waterfall, a fan-shaped cascade nestled in the hills, offering a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere. Continue the adventure to Sibea-Bea Hill, a newly popular viewpoint known for its majestic scenery and iconic cross monument overlooking the lake.

After enjoying a local lunch, we begin our drive to Berastagi via Sidikalang. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Tele View Tower, where you can admire Lake Toba from a breathtaking elevation, and Taman Wisata Iman (TWI) Sidikalang, a peaceful religious park representing various faiths in harmony.

Arriving in Berastagi by late afternoon, breathe in the cool mountain air and take in the charming countryside views. After hotel check-in, enjoy a hearty dinner at a local restaurant and rest for the final day of the tour.

Day 3

Start your morning with breakfast before heading out to Gundailing Hill, one of the best spots to enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Sinabung and the surrounding highlands.

Next, we visit Gundailing Farmstead, a famous dairy farm where you’ll learn about the milk production process, from cows to fresh dairy products like cheese and ice cream — a fun and educational experience for all ages.

Continue to the serene Lumbini Natural Park, home to a stunning golden pagoda that mirrors Myanmar’s Shwedagon Pagoda. This peaceful spot offers not just spiritual calm but also captivating photo opportunities.

Then, explore Berastagi Fruit Market, known for its vibrant selection of tropical fruits such as passionfruit, Berastagi oranges, and avocados — perfect for bringing home as souvenirs. After lunch, we drive back to Medan via Sembahe, a scenic mountain route.

In Medan, visit the historic Maimun Palace, a regal legacy of the Deli Sultanate. Finally, enjoy some time to shop for popular Medan treats like Bolu Meranti, Durian Pancakes, and Bika Ambon before transferring to Kualanamu Airport for your flight home.
