Day 1

Upon your arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative from Aulia Tour Medan. After a brief introduction, we will begin our journey with a delicious lunch served at a local restaurant — the perfect start to energize your adventure.

After lunch, we head to Parapat, the charming lakeside town that serves as the gateway to the stunning Lake Toba. En route, we pass through Pematang Siantar, enjoying scenic views of lush rubber and palm oil plantations along the way. We’ll make a special stop at the famous Toko Paten, where you can sample and purchase unique peanut-based snacks like teng-teng, ting-ting, and other local treats with quirky names.

Upon arrival in Parapat, you will check in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner at the Atsari Hotel's restaurant accompanied by the soulful rhythms of traditional Batak music. After dinner, you’re free to relax at the hotel or take a peaceful stroll along the tranquil lakeshore.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Ajibata Harbor for a scenic boat crossing to Samosir Island, located in the heart of Lake Toba. As the boat glides across the calm waters, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the lake surrounded by green hills and majestic mountains.

Our first stop is Tomok Village, a culturally rich site home to the ancient tombs of King Sidabutar and a traditional Batak church. You may also witness the fascinating Sigale-gale dance performance (optional), a unique puppet dance with spiritual significance. Take your time to explore the vibrant Tomok market, where you can shop for handwoven ulos, wood carvings, and authentic local souvenirs.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to Ambarita Village, known for its intriguing megalithic relics, including the ancient stone chairs and execution site used by Batak kings. By late afternoon, we return to Parapat for free time at your leisure. Dinner will be served at the hotel restaurant before you retire for the night.

Day 3

Start the day with breakfast before continuing your Samosir exploration. Today we visit Pangururan, the largest town on Samosir Island. Our journey begins at Holbung Hill, a hidden gem offering wide green savannahs and a panoramic view of Lake Toba – perfect for photography and relaxation.

Next, we visit Efrata Waterfall, a beautiful fan-shaped cascade nestled in a serene setting. Feel the refreshing mist and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the area. Then, we drive to Sibea-bea Hill, famous for its winding roads and spectacular cliffside views of the lake, a true natural wonder.

After lunch at a local eatery, we head to the Tele Observation Tower. Standing tall on a highland peak, this tower provides a bird’s-eye view of Samosir Island and the lake's magnificent expanse — a sight you won't forget.

From there, we continue our scenic journey through Sidikalang toward Taman Simalem Resort, located on the northern rim of Lake Toba. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the resort’s organic farms and explore its serene landscapes. Take in the panoramic lake views from the highest vantage point in the area. After checking in, a hearty dinner will be served at the resort's restaurant, followed by a relaxing evening at your leisure.

Day 4

Rise early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over Lake Toba from the resort’s viewpoint — a peaceful and unforgettable moment. After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for the cool highlands of Berastagi, nestled at the foot of the Barisan Mountains.

Our first stop is Gundailing Farmstead, where you’ll see firsthand the dairy production process and even taste fresh milk, homemade cheese, and creamy ice cream. Then, we visit Taman Lumbini, home to a stunning golden replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda — a serene spiritual retreat.

No trip to Berastagi is complete without visiting the Berastagi Fruit Market. Here, you can browse and taste a colorful variety of locally grown fruits, such as passionfruit, tamarillo, and strawberries.

In the afternoon, we journey back to Medan via Sembahe. Once in the city, we visit two of Medan's most iconic landmarks: the majestic Al-Mashun Grand Mosque and the historic Maimun Palace. Time permitting, additional visits can be made to Gunung Timur Temple or Sri Mariamman Temple based on your interest. After a lovely dinner at a local restaurant, we offer an optional experience to try the legendary Medan durian at Ucok Durian. Finally, enjoy a short evening city tour before checking into your hotel for the night.

Day 5

On your final morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. We then visit Rumah Noerlen, a charming heritage home where traditional passion fruit syrup is made. Learn about the process and taste the fresh syrup that has become a Medan specialty.
