After breakfast, we head to Ajibata Port and board a motorboat to Samosir Island. Enjoy the tranquil crossing as the lush hills and shimmering waters of Lake Toba unfold around you.

Our first stop on the island is Tomok Village, where you’ll explore the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar, an old Batak church, and the local museum that reveals the deep roots of Batak heritage. You’ll also have the chance to witness the legendary Sigale-gale puppet dance (optional).

Continue your journey through Tomok Market, where local vendors offer handmade crafts like ulos (traditional woven cloth), wooden carvings, and souvenirs that reflect the vibrant Batak culture.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit Ambarita Village, home to ancient stone chairs and execution sites used in Batak tribal courts. In the late afternoon, return to your lakeside hotel for check-in. Enjoy some free time—perhaps rent a bicycle or simply relax by the lake—followed by dinner at the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel, then embark on a scenic day trip to some of Samosir’s most breathtaking spots. First, visit Holbung Hill, also known as the Teletubbies Hill for its smooth green landscape and panoramic lake views. Then, continue to the majestic Efrata Waterfall, fanning out like a natural curtain in the heart of Samosir.

Next, visit the spectacular Sibea-bea Hill, where winding roads and dramatic landscapes offer some of the most stunning photo opportunities of the entire tour. Afterward, we travel via Sidikalang to reach the highland resort of Taman Simalem.

At Taman Simalem Resort, enjoy a delicious lunch before touring the resort’s organic farm and viewing platform, which offers one of the best panoramic views of Lake Toba’s northern shore. Before heading out, make a quick stop at Sipiso-piso Waterfall, one of Indonesia’s tallest and most dramatic waterfalls.

In the evening, arrive at Berastagi, a cool mountain town surrounded by volcanoes. After hotel check-in, dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Then, rest up for the next day’s cultural and culinary adventure.

Then, we visit the iconic Lumbini Pagoda, a golden replica of Myanmar’s Shwedagon Pagoda set amidst lush gardens.

Next, explore Berastagi Fruit Market, famous for its colorful variety of highland fruits including passionfruit, strawberries, and citrus. After lunch at a local restaurant, we travel to Medan via the scenic Sembahe route.

In Medan, we begin with visits to historical landmarks: Al Mashun Grand Mosque and the elegant Maimun Palace, showcasing royal Malay architecture. For those interested in spiritual sites, optional visits are available to Vihara Gunung Timur (Buddhist temple) and Sri Mariamman Temple (Hindu temple), both reflecting Medan’s rich multicultural spirit.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, followed by an optional visit to Ucok Durian to taste Medan’s legendary durian. Finally, check in at your hotel for a restful night in the city.

After breakfast at the hotel, your final day begins with a visit to Rumah Noerlen, a charming heritage house where you can see the traditional process of making passion fruit syrup. You’ll also have the opportunity to sample and purchase this sweet local delicacy.

The tour concludes with a stop at some of Medan’s most famous souvenir shops, where you can buy treats like Bolu Meranti, Bika Ambon, and Durian Pancake—perfect gifts to bring home.
