Day 1

Welcome to Medan! Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport or after pick-up from your hotel in Medan, our team will greet you warmly and begin your exciting journey toward the highlands. We set off for Taman Simalem Resort via the picturesque town of Berastagi. The drive takes approximately 3 hours and offers stunning views of lush hills, winding roads, and charming rural scenery.

En route, we’ll stop at the breathtaking Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, one of the tallest and most iconic waterfalls in Indonesia. From the viewpoint, you’ll witness the majestic cascade dropping from a cliff into the valley below, with the shimmering Lake Toba in the background—an unforgettable sight and perfect photo opportunity.

Our next destination is the expansive Taman Simalem Resort, a 105-hectare eco-resort nestled in the Karo Highlands. This unique resort is famous for its stunning panoramic views of Lake Toba, its cool mountain air, and its commitment to sustainable tourism. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant within the resort, surrounded by nature and serenity.

After lunch, we’ll explore the resort’s highlights, including a tour of its organic farm and a scenic visit to One Tree Hill, the highest viewpoint in the area. From here, you can take in an unparalleled view of Lake Toba and the surrounding landscape—perfect for relaxing or capturing beautiful photos.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the charming highland town of Berastagi. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy some time to relax. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. After dinner, feel free to rest or enjoy the cool evening atmosphere of Berastagi at your own leisure.

Day 2

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have some free time to relax and soak in the fresh mountain air before checking out. Then, we head to a local restaurant for a hearty lunch to energize you for the day’s activities.

Our first stop is Gundailing Farmstead, a modern dairy farm known for its high-quality milk products. Here, you’ll get a glimpse of the milk production process and have the chance to taste freshly made ice cream and cheese – all produced on-site using sustainable methods.

Next, we visit the lively Berastagi Fruit Market, the perfect place to shop for fresh tropical fruits straight from local farms. From passion fruit and strawberries to juicy oranges and creamy avocados, this market is a feast for the senses and a great spot to pick up some local treats.

We then continue to the serene Lumbini Natural Park, home to the stunning Shwedagon Pagoda Replica – the second tallest of its kind in Southeast Asia. Set against the backdrop of Mount Sibayak, this golden Buddhist temple offers peace and spiritual ambiance amidst beautifully manicured gardens.

As the day winds down, we make our way back to Medan. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your hotel.
