Day 1

Your journey begins with a friendly pickup from Kualanamu International Airport, followed by a comfortable drive towards Pematang Siantar. Here, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, offering regional flavors to kickstart your adventure.

Before continuing the journey, stop by Toko Paten, the legendary souvenir shop in Siantar, well-known for its nut-based treats like ting-ting and teng-teng. It’s the perfect place to collect edible memories of North Sumatra.

Arriving at Parapat, you’ll cross the beautiful Lake Toba by ferry to Samosir Island, where cultural treasures await. Visit Ambarita Village, home to the ancient stone court of King Siallagan, and explore Tomok Village, where the mystical tomb of King Sidabutar and traditional Batak architecture tell stories of the island’s rich history.

In the late afternoon, we head to Tuktuk Village, the main tourist hub on Samosir. Check into your lakeside hotel, enjoy dinner in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, and unwind by the calm shores of the lake.

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel while admiring the peaceful morning on Lake Toba. After check-out, your Samosir Island exploration continues with a visit to Holbung Hill, an emerald expanse with sweeping views of the lake and surrounding highlands.

Next, head to the iconic Sibea-bea Hill, where a giant statue of Jesus Christ overlooks Lake Toba from a breathtaking vantage point. Then we stop at the Efrata Waterfall, a serene natural wonder surrounded by lush hills—perfect for photos and quiet reflection.

From here, we continue directly to Berastagi via Sidikalang, a scenic drive through coffee plantations, pine forests, and traditional villages nestled in the Karo Highlands.

Arriving in Berastagi, visit the peaceful and photogenic Swedaghon Pagoda at Taman Lumbini, a symbol of peace and spirituality with golden spires reminiscent of Myanmar’s Shwedagon. Enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant in the cool mountain air.

After lunch, relax on the journey back to Medan via the beautiful Sibolangit route. Upon arrival in Medan, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable 2-day North Sumatran adventure.
